Well, what a score I found in the Red Cross last week! A 100% cashmere jersey for only $8. immaculate and oh-so-soft, I was so excited I bugged my husband about it for the whole day. (His reaction was pretty much what you’d imagine from a typical kiwi bloke)

I can see why people rave about cashmere, it’s incredibly light and as soon as you put it on you feel instantly warm and snuggly. I once found three cashmere jerseys in a Salvation Army whilst on holiday in Hawaii. (Similar eye-roll reaction from Hubby) No need to guess why they were there in that climate!

My neice was visiting us from Christchurch when I found this beauty, and I gave her and my son free reign of my closet to style it for the blog. They closed the bedroom door and ferreted away for at least 20 minutes while they ‘worked’. And here’s the result!
