I found this One Teaspoon leather skirt in the Browns Bay market today. It’s a beauty and was only $10, tags still on. I don’t have anything in leather but I thought I would give this a try. It’s a more casual look in green so can be dressed down as well as up. The owner of the stall had bought it online in a sale and it didn’t fit. A lot of items in her stall were brand new clothing bought online. Let that be a lesson to us all, nothing beats trying before you buy!

Markets are a relatively cheap way of selling all your stuff. It requires a bit more effort but there’s a lot of foot traffic that comes by, and if you’re willing to bargain, you can pass on a lot of unwanted clothing and bits an pieces to new homes. We go every Sunday, it gives you a great sense of community and it’s a fun weekend activity that is relatively cheap (depending on how much you buy of course). Ever thought about owning a shop? Well, a market stall is a great way of dipping your toe in the retail waters without the investment and it’s an untapped resource for clothing bargain hunters like me!
So, do check out markets, it not all junk there are scores to be found! or better yet, participate and do your bit to keep markets running in our communities.
Bring on the bargains!

Nice! Maybe folk have some suggestions for the best markets for clothes shopping around NZ?
